Brochure On NovaVac II™ Resin Dryer Makes New Vacuum-Drying System Easy To Understand

Baltimore, MD - A new brochure on the NovaVac II™ vacuum resin dryer provides a clear capsule explanation of a technology that has worked successfully in more than a thousand commercial installations but is still unfamiliar to many users of conventional dryers, according to NOVATEC, Inc.

The amply illustrated four-page color brochure shows why the NovaVac II dryer uses 80% less energy than desiccant dryers while properly drying resin in only one-sixth the time and providing other advantages over these conventional units. Cartoons and an accompanying step-by-step text follow resin as it progress through the three indexing stations of the NovaVac II dryer during a typical vacuum drying cycle, which often takes as little as 40 minutes. While the process differs radically from that of conventional drying systems, the key to its operation is shown to be two basic, simple-to-understand principles of physics. Close-up photos illustrate the user-friendly characteristics of resin canisters, air filters, controllers and other key system components. A table of recommended drying times outlines cycle requirements for 19 different resin families, and a second table provides detailed specifications for three NovaVac II models.

NovaVac II dryers are currently available with throughput capacities from under 30 lb. (14 liters) to as much as 200 lb. (90 liters) per hour. NOVATEC supports this equipment with a full five-year warranty.
